Supporting the Program
- Interns participating in the Policy Internship Program are supported entirely by donations from individuals, foundations, and companies.This ensures that all those who are interested are able to afford the experience. Most of the donations go directly to students in the form of stipends and housing.
How to help
- A donation to the Annual Fund. You can do this through the University of Virginia Engineering Foundation Website, www.seas.virginia.edu/giving/ways.php, and designate the program as the beneficiary. This is the best route for small donations, and every donation makes a difference!
- An endowment gift. While the annual fund needs to be replenished each year, an endowment is a perpetual gift because the money is invested and the program relies on the interest for operating expenses.
